The Immaculate Conception BVM Church Stucco Restoration Project blog debuted in June 2013 to enable parishioners and friends of the parish to follow the progress of the project.

NEW STUCCO WALLS ENHANCE CHURCH'S EXTERIOR BEAUTY
The stucco restoration project, which also included installation of new gutters and downspouts as well as repairs to the slate roof, has enhanced the exterior beauty of our church as well as adding protection from the elements that can cause damage. 

Below are photos showing the completed walls, along with a number of "before" pictures. What a contrast! Enjoy viewing the many stages of progress over the past four seasons by scrolling through the blog.

A BIT OF SNOW ON THE ROOF
There was some evidence of snowfalls on parts of the Church roof today. Understandably, there were no work crews on the job this very, very cold afternoon.

THE FINISHED WALLS EMERGE

The scaffolding removal is underway and the new stucco walls of the Church are looking very good -- even on a dark, cloudy, rainy morning. Here are views at the back of the Church and on the side facing the Pastoral Center.

WORKIN' IT ON 2 LEVELS

In brisk but sunny and beautiful weather, crewmen were working on two levels on the rear section of the Church today. At the higher point, repairs to the slate roof are made, while at a lower height, gutters are installed.

NEW GUTTERS/DOWNSPOUTS 

Here are two photos of the attractive new downspouts now in place on the Pastoral Center side of the Church. The new gutters/downspouts are part of the restoration project.

WORKING IN A HIGH PLACE
